Features and Specifications
Detachable 36-Volt Lithium Battery
Unlike the ECOTRIC 26” Electric Bike 2018 Update, the lithium battery of this electric mountain bike is not placed at the back of the seat post or inside the frame. Each side of the bike frame has a 36-volt/5 amp-hour lithium battery. Together, they provide a total mileage of 20 miles (electric only) per charge.
- Charging time: 4 to 6 hours
- Useful life: 400 to 600 charge cycles
500W Brushless Toothless Motor
With its 500-watt brushless toothless motor and Shimano 7-speed gears, this has enough power to ride over most rough terrains and zip up hills. It can ideally reach a maximum speed of 20 miles/hour on flat roads under the ideal condition (rider weighs under 220 pounds, on pure electric mode, with little to no headwinds). Plus, it has a 6KM cruise control, so you can maintain your desired speed.
There are two ways to make the motor work: twist throttle and pedal-assist (with five levels of assistance). If you want to get the feel of a traditional bicycle, you can choose the pure pedal mode.
Warning: This electric mountain bike could become unsteady if you weigh about 260 pounds and ride it at speeds over 18 miles/hour.
Aluminum Alloy Frame
It has a lightweight and stable 26-inch aluminum frame, with the front attached to an adjustable suspension fork. The 26-inch by 2.35-inch cruiser tires are great for the city roads and some light trails. The seat is adjustable, allowing people who are 5’4” to 6’2” in height to comfortably ride this electric bike.
To provide security during your trip, it has wheel reflectors, pedals with reflectors, front and rear reflectors, outage braking system, and mechanical braking system. The large S700 LCD display on the handlebar shows you important information about the electric bike (pedal-assist level, distance traveled, battery power status, and speed) and lets you set the speed limit.

Covers Good Distance on a Single Charge
The battery should ideally last 20 miles on a single charge, which is not bad at all. Most Americans now travel 16 miles to work one way, according to ABC News. Most people who bought this electric mountain bike were able to put an average of 5 to 12 miles on it.
If you ride more than 20 miles daily, we suggest you get long-distance electric bikes, such as the CLIENSY 26″ Electric Mountain Bike. It can reach a range of 31 miles on pedal-assist.
Fun and Fast
If you’re 5’9” to 5’11” tall and weigh around 175 to 200 pounds, you can maintain a constant speed of 15 to 21 miles per hour on a flat ground, with or without pedaling. It has throttle and cruise control, so you don’t need to keep pedaling to maintain your desired speed.
A Great Way to Exercise
Keep in mind that this has a 5-level pedal-assist mode and pure pedal mode. Just use any of these bike operation modes to get the most out of your exercise. The great thing about this electric mountain bike is it won’t leave you too exhausted or out of breath, especially when you’re climbing hills.

Confusing Assembly Instructions
This comes with an assembly manual that has general descriptions and instructions. That’s why it was confusing for most people to put this together. The good news is it’s really not that difficult to put this together because it’s already 90% assembled when you get it.
You may not like to use it for your long-distance trips because of the uncomfortable seat, which can be painful at times. It doesn’t have a shock absorber, so your back and butt will feel every bump and crack in the road. A good solution is to replace it with a more comfortable seat.
Or, if you want, look for an electric bike with fat tires, good suspension system, and/or shock absorber to reduce fatigue and keep you comfortable during the ride. The W Wallke Folding Aluminum Electric Bike is worth the consideration.
Needs a Few Adjustments and Replacements
For instance, you might want to replace the tires because they’re meant for paved roads. They don’t provide enough traction to help you ride through mountainous ground.
When you receive this, make sure to check the brakes, shifter, and wheels. You might need to grease or adjust them, which could cost you a few dollars.
Who Is It For?
This entry-level electric mountain bike is for people who expect to ride mostly on paved roads and light 0ff-road trails, with occasional hills. This is a good choice for daily commuters who travel less than 20 miles a day and want to squeeze in exercise into their schedule.
Note: Aside from the terrain, your riding style, and wind condition, your health will also determine how long or how far you can ride this bicycle.
This is a fun electric mountain bike that has a good speed, mileage, hill climbing ability, and rider assistance (pedal-assist and throttle). It has a few minor issues (painful seat, needs some parts adjustment or replacement, has smooth tires, etc.) that are easy to solve. But, other than those minor issues, we recommend this for adults who expect to get a great quality electric mountain bike for the relatively low price.
