Features and SpecificationsNAKTO 26 City Adult Electric Bicycles and Assisted Bicycle

Carbon Steel Frame and Front Fork

The frame and front fork of the NAKTO 26″ City Adult Electric Bicycles and Assisted Bicycle is made from strong and stable carbon steel. The e-bike is strong enough to carry loads up to 250 pounds.

The seat is adjustable to fit rider height ranging from 5’3” to 6’1”. Meanwhile, the step-through frame makes sure that the rider can mount and dismount the e-bike quickly and effortlessly.

An Efficient 250-Watt Motor

Despite the minimal power output, the 250-watt brushless rear hub motor provides a decent amount of force that fits different needs for speed. You have two ways to tap the bike’s electric motor: First, you use the ‘Pure electric riding’ mode to operate the e-bike without pedaling. With the ‘Booster riding’, the motor will only provide power when you pedal. This mode usually gives you more range (if the lowest setting is used) and allows you to exercise.

Removable 36-Volt/10Ah Lithium Battery

The lithium battery of the NAKTO 26″ City Adult Electric Bicycles and Assisted Bicycle is advertised to provide enough power for a 20-mile to 25-mile (pedal-assist mode only) commute. The great thing about this e-bike is you can charge it on or off the bike in just 4 to 6 hours, without worrying about overheating, overcharging, short circuits, and excessive currents damaging the battery.

To remove the battery, simply flip the seat to access the battery housing. Lift the lever at the side of the battery housing then turn the key to remove the battery.

Choose any speed that fits your needs. This e-bike can go as fast as 20 miles per hour (mph). It’s equipped with the Shimano RevoShift 6-Speed Twist Shifter and the Shimano quick-change gears, so you can enjoy a smooth riding experience.

The Good

Works Relatively Well on Steep Inclines

The NAKTO 26″ City Adult Electric Bicycles and Assisted Bicycle climbs hills well, but if you use the pedal-assist mode. Some say it still does well on moderately steep roads even when the lithium battery has less than 50% power left.

Of course, we won’t recommend you to go crazy and use it as a mountain bike. If you want the best of both worlds, and money is not an issue, try hybrid e-bikes, such as the Magnum Metro Low Step Premium Electric Hybrid Bike.

Has Two Types of Baskets

This e-bike has two types of baskets: a metal basket and a plastic basket. Whichever type you choose, it’s big enough to carry a six-pack of water bottle. If that’s not enough, you can place your saddle bag or backpack on the rear rack.

The great thing about this e-bike is it can support up to 250 pounds of weight without losing a lot of battery power. You could ride this bike with four to six reusable shopping bags at 20 mph to 25 mph for miles without needing to recharge the lithium battery.

Offers Comfortable and Enjoyable Rides

The seat is wide and padded. Meanwhile, the seat tube has a shock-absorbing spring to give you a comfortable ride, even over a bumpy terrain. The pedal-assist working mode and 36V/10Ah lithium battery offers much-needed assistance when you need to climb hills or riding against moderate breeze (13-18 mph).

The NAKTO 26″ City Adult Electric Bicycles is designed to help you enjoy a pleasurable ride, paired with an affordable price. Get to know more about it here.

The Bad

Don’t Attempt to Carry It

Because you might end up hurting yourself. You can’t carry this anywhere, especially upstairs—unless you’re a heavily built person. As what we’ve mentioned, this weighs a whopping 65 pounds (as stated on the Nakto website). Finding a place to park or store it might also be a problem.

No User’s Manual

Although this is not such a bad thing. There’s a YouTube video that you could watch to get the e-bike completely set up. And, fortunately, the e-bike is already 95% assembled. All you’ll need to do is to assemble the front wheel and handlebar.

More Suitable for Riding on Pavement

This e-bike will sink into sandy and snowy roads. (The Addmotor Motan Folding Adult Electric Bikes would be a better option for that purpose.) It might ride well on bumpy roads, but not on a rough off-road path. As much as possible, stick to smooth and even concrete or asphalt roads.

Who Is It For?

The NAKTO 26″ City Adult Electric Bicycles and Assisted Bicycle is designed for city riders. You can use it for commuting daily, grocery shopping, or leisure cycling. But, you can’t ride it on mountain trails, soft grounds, bad road conditions, or during extreme weather conditions (e.g. heavy snowfall or rainfall). If you like winter riding or beach riding, the ONWAY 26″ Snow & Beach 7 Speed Fat Tire Electric Bicycle is a possible alternative.

Conclusion

NAKTO 26 City Adult Electric Bicycles and Assisted Bicycle

This e-bike has a few quirks and imperfections to it, but they’re not major deal breakers. Just remember that this is more suitable for concrete pavement and asphalt pavement, not for rough off-road trails and soft terrains. For the affordable price, it’s definitely worth checking out.
